Eligibility criteria:
For First Year Post SSC Full Time Diploma Courses
To be eligible for admission to first year of diploma course in Engineering / Technology:
Candidate should be an Indian National and should have Passed the SSC (Std.X) examination of
Maharashtra State Board of Secondary Education "OR" its equivalent, with subjects
Maths/Mathematics, General Science and English with minimum 35% aggregate marks..
A) The candidates who have passed SSC Examination prior to March 2020, the aggregate
marks shall be grand total of marks obtained by the candidate in any 5 subjects where
he/she has scored maximum marks.
B) The candidates who have passed SSC Examination after March 2020, the aggregate
marks shall be total marks of 5 subjects taken into consideration and mentioned on
the Mark sheet.
C) Candidates who have passed Maths/Mathematics (Code 71 for Maharashtra State
Board candidates) and Science & Technology (Code 72 for Maharashtra State Board
candidates) are only eligible for admission.
D) In case marks against sports activities are given on the marksheet,
Direct admission to the Second Year of Post SSC full Time Diploma Courses.
The 20% seats of the sanctioned intake are available as over and above the sanctioned intake in
all the institutes in state for direct admission to the Second Year of Post SSC full Time Diploma
Courses. The required educational qualification for the additional seats is either H.S.C. Science /
H.S.C. (Science with Vocational/ Technical) subjects OR MCVC, 10+2 years I.T.I. with center of excellence course.
Eligibility of the student for the specific branches of diploma programmes shall be as per MSBTE guidelines.
Any vacant seats available in second year / third semester of post S.S.C diploma programme
may be filled by the students acquiring either H.S.C. Science / H.S.C. (Science with
Vocational) of Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education at the
end of admission process.
Note:-
Compulsory I.T.I. Trade and CTS Trade should be of 2 Years.
One Year ATS and One Year CTS will not be eligible for direct admission to the Second Year.
Admission procedure :
* Registration - In order to get admission into polytechnic programme, candidates are required
to fill and submit the application form released by the concerned authorities within the
specified dates. While filling out the application form, candidates have to provide some basic
details such as personal details, academic details, & contact details and upload required
documents such as photograph and signature. During the application process, candidates will
also be required to make a payment of the application fee.
For First Year of Post SSC/ Post HSC Diploma Courses in Engineering and Direct Second Year of
Post SSC Diploma Courses in Engineering : The eligible candidates are required to purchase the
Application Kit with Information Brochure from the nearest Facilitation Centre on payment in
Cash.
Fee Structure:
Fees is chargeable as per " Shikshan Shulk Samiti " Maharashtra State guidelines and should pay in the form of Demand Draft / Pay in Nationalized Bank valid for minimum six month.
Rules for cancellation of admission and refund of fees :
Cancellation of admission and refund of fees will be as per the guidelines suggested by DTE,Mumbai Maharashtra state from time to time and further modification there to.
